If you want to get rid of the sidebar in Windows Vista, it’s really easy.

First, you’ll have to right click the Sidebar icon in the system tray and choose Properties.

Next, simply uncheck the box beside “Start Sidebar when Windows starts.”

Who needs another analog clock or calendar when there is already one in the system tray?
