I am betting it has something to do with a registry entry somewhere - but where and which one??? All files that have to do with it have been replaced from the Install disc, plus a repair (both ways) has been done on the system, still no joy. Taskbar Repair Tool Plus May work for some things, but it does NOT fix an XP Taskbar stuck in Classic mode - and I even paid the $5.00 to open up that repair option.
