At its very own Embedded Forum, AMD has taken the opportunity to announce a few new additions to its offer for embedded systems. The first to be unveiled were the Turion 64 X2 TL-56 and TL-62 dual-core processors, both featuring K8-level performance and low power requirements. Next up, two single-core CPUs were announced - the Sempron 3700+ and a new version of the Mobile 2100+ processor, the latter being claimed to offer a reduction in thermal design power of up to 15%. All the processors are compatible with Socket S1.
