c|net reports that that Hewlett-Packard will be enhancing it's Home Server software, with the following new features:

  • McAfee server side antivirus protection (free for the first 7 month).
  • PacketVideo technology that enhanced video steaming.
  • 64-bit Vista support, not sure how this differs from Microsoft's Power Pack 1 [1, 2, 3, 4, 5].

The software update will be available from HP sometime in February.
