Thank you,here's what has happened with me, i downloaded the file and unzipped it then ii went to the device manager and chose to update the the unknown device,byt when i choose the file that i just downloaded and unzipped it says that the location i just gave doesn't contain any of the files needed
what seems to be the problem?

Hey just go into device manager and right click on your "unknown device" then click "update driver." Navigate your way to your unzipped folder and it should find a driver there. Install that and it will realize there is a sound device then go through device manager again to install the drivers for the HD audio. Hope it helps.

great... a fix to the problem I have ....or at least I hope.. but where the hell do the files go?.....whats the use in downloading a fix when you can't be sure where to install it?
