In the latest Law & Order: sue Microsoft episode the Redmond giant is facing a few court days, weeks or months in the Philippines as a school has filed a complaint against it. According to Southeastern College aka SEC, Microsoft, through its Philippines subsidiary has illegally distributed an Office XP manual written and owned by the school.

As SEC explains Microsoft has received a license for 10,000 printed copies of the manual in 2004 but in 2006 the OS maker freely distributed the manual in PDF form through a giveaway. It seems that Microsoft has given out at least 700 CDs with the manual on them so SEC is looking to receive damages of a little over $2.4 million or 100 million pesos from it. We're sure they can settle somehow though.
