Vista.com fetches $1.25M
Vista.com has sold for $1.25M. So, did Microsoft buy it for its Vista operating system? No. The domain was purchased by VistaPrint Limited (Nasdaq: VPRT). VistaPrint is famous for its free business card offers.
Software as a Service company Innuity sold the domain. Innuity was known as Vista until 2005. When it changed its name to Innuity it started sending Vista.com traffic to VistaPrint through an advertising arrangement.
