Microsoft just announced Hyper-V (here and here) and SCVMM v.Next (here and here).

The official name of the server virtualization technology within Windows Server 2008 will be Hyper-V. The codename was Microsoft viridian. Here are the first screenshots from the IT Forum Keynote:
