The German version of YouTube is live now. This specific localized site apparently had some higher hurdles to take as it took longer than other European versions to go live. Now, Germans get the pleasure of some carefully crafted Denglish, like “Promotete Videos,” “Benutzerdefinierten Player erstellen,” or “Broadcast Yourself” (OK, the motto isn’t translated at all).
