We won't beat a dead horse and tell you how great Crysis looks. After all, Crysis isn't just about visuals. With so many shooters crowding the holiday season, we wanted to find out what will set this game apart from the competition -- aside from its graphical prowess -- so we recently played through the first three missions of the campaign to find out.

Something noticeable about Crysis is that the gun selection is fairly limited, at least early on in the game. Furthermore, none of the guns feel over-the-top. This isn't to say that the weapons are boring, as the weapons in Crysis are some of the more customizable we have seen. Every weapon has the ability to have parts switched out on a whim, adding a level of strategy. If you need to covertly snipe an opponent, you can bring up your gun options and add your suppressor and then pick out the type of gun sight that works best for you. Or, if you are about to hit a hard target, you might switch out your laser sight for a grenade launcher attachment.
