WordPress 2.3.1 RC1

The WordPress development blog has announced the release of WordPress 2.3.1 RC1. The only change since Beta 1 was a small fix to wp-mail.php to address ticket #5169. With this release, the final version WordPress 2.3.1 is almost ready to go in the next day or two.
