Google has released two new applications for the Apple iPhone in Google Calendar and Google Reader. Both applications are available when browsing calendar.google.com or google.com/reader with the iPhone.

Adrian Alexa of DoDevice has his initial thoughts:

  • Google Calendar appears with simplicity and at first look it is quite easier to use than the regular interface of the mobile phone.
  • Google Reader for the iPhone is also much better looking than the original mobile interface presented. This application should be very popular among users.

Google applications for the iPhone can also be viewed via the Firefox Browser Addon : User Agent Switcher.
