Microsoft Baseline Configuration Analyzer (MBCA) is a command line tool that will analyze/benchmark a system’s (or environments) configuration with respect to a predefined baseline configuration. A baseline configuration is basically a best practice model (for a Microsoft product) as defined by the product team and/or domain experts. Baseline configuration models are made available for a few Microsoft server products.
