Page Category Plus allows you to assign categories to WordPress ‘Pages’ - which WordPress in it’s natural state does not do. Unlike prior versions of the old ‘Page Category Organiser’, it uses the same categories you use for ‘Posts’ and, in effect, treats Pages as if they were Posts.

Here are some lines from the developer, Andy Staines, excerpted from recent email contacts with him and from the most recent ReadMe:

"I am afraid I had to stop supporting this one - just not enough time - and sadly found nobody willing to take it over."

"When you read v. 2.3 on the net it is supposed to refer to the least version of WordPress this plugin requires, NOT to the plugin version. This 2.2 from April 18, 2008 is the last build - sorry but there won’t be any more, and support for this plugin has stopped."

"The php files are dated August 21st, 2008. What I did was document the latest build from April 18th, 2008, in case anyone took it on so they could understand better what it was about."

I confirm Andy's great PlugIn working in WP 2.8.2. Since it can not be downloaded from anywhere on the net anymore I uploaded it to a public filehoster:

Thanks to Andy (and all the others that helped me receive the plugin).

    Regards,
    Lee Binder
