Microsoft finally has gone public with the planned launch dates for two of its Business Division server products.

PerformancePoint Server 2007 — Microsoft’s latest business-intelligence add-on, which is a business-scorecarding product — will launch officially on September 19, 2007.

Microsoft released the most recent test version of PerformancePoint Server, Community Technology Preview (CTP) release 4, the week of August 13. The test build is available to any interested parties for download from Microsoft’s Connect site.

Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 — the all-in-one enterprise instant-messaging, VOIP, audio-video conferencing product — and the accompanying Office Communicator 2007 client, are launching on October 16, 2007.

Microsoft released the final version of OCS 2007 to manufacturing in late July.
