Yesterday, I had posted about, Google gift for the Indian users in a couple of days. Well, if you can’t wait till Google unwrap the gift(s), here you go - the Google India Labs.

The Google India Labs currently showcasing two prototype products to test, you can send them feedback also: Indic On-Screen Keyboard iGoogle Gadgets and Google Indic Transliteration.

The Indic On-Screen Keyboard is a iGoogle gadget that allows user to compose search queries in any of the 14 Indian language that the application supports (including Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit and Bengali) by using the mouse to “select the appropriate letters of the alphabet and create search terms.”

And the Indic Transliteration, umm, lets you transliterate English words and phrases into Hindi phonetically. This tool has been available on Blogger for some months.
