Dan London of Vibrant Orange SEM has posted a recap on the AdWords Editor Blog about his experience with the AdWords Pay-Per-Action, where advertisers only pay Google a CPA (cost per action) for a conversion.

When I go into my AdSense account and find my offer, I can see that it is a 5-star rated offer. Google AdSense is basically becoming a pretty good affiliate program.

The PPA allows you to upload all sizes of image ads as well as text ads. There are a few ways that a "conversion" can be determined: Sale, Filling out form or even the viewing of a specific page. The best part is that you do not need to add any additional code into your website as the standard AdWords conversion code works for the PPA as well.
