Just about one week ago we were hearing “confirmed reports from Microsoft that we could expect an updated version of the Zune in time for the holidays. Well what a difference a week can make, it seems now the new Zune, codenamed Scorpio will be delayed. According to some reports over on ZuneScene, the production run that was set to be completed by August 31st has now been pushed back way into September. Which would mean that any possible release could not be expected until at least October at the very earliest. The flash based Zune, codenamed Draco has been rumored to have begun its production on July 23rd as planned. Of course these details are all just rumors at this point as Microsoft has yet to confirm anything. Is anyone even excited about a new Zune?
