Nokia N800 gets Skype and Adobe Flash 9 support

Nokia has just announced an update to the Internet Tablet OS 2007 edition, feature upgrade release is now available for download. The update (version number 4.2007.26-8) includes Skype client support, Adobe Flash 9 browser plug-in, improvements in online use times and single memory card support up to 8 GB. Also delightful new pre-installed content is available.

To check the version number of the current software on your device, Go to Tools > Control panel > About product.

You can update the software on your Nokia N800 Internet Tablet using your compatible Windows PC (see also the instructions for Linux and Mac OS X). Hook up your Nokia N800 Internet Tablet to your computer and launch the Internet Tablet Software Update wizard. The wizard will automatically update your device with the latest software release. If you have not yet installed the Internet Tablet Software update wizard onto your computer, please see instructions at http://nokia.com/support.
