Michael Larabel of Phoronix has the scoop on Google’s Linux App plans via a presentation by the Google Linux Client Team.

Google is working on “some ’significant accomplishments’ and other new Google desktop applications coming out this year for the Linux platform.�

Here is the Google Linux presentation given by Google’s Xianzhu Wang and Zhe Su during the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit and specifically the Desktop Architect Meeting 4 (DAM-4).
