Lotus To Microsoft Migration Tool Offered
Unify Corp. is offering a product that lets companies switch their IBM Lotus Notes e-mail and collaboration applications to the Microsoft Office system. The company's product, called Microsoft Edition of Composer for Lotus Notes, can capture both template-based and custom Lotus Notes applications, exposing them as services in a service-oriented architecture (SOA). The migrated Lotus Notes components can then be supported by Microsoft's SharePoint, Visual Studio and SQL Server solutions.
"Composer addresses one of the biggest challenges for Notes organizations today -- migrating custom Lotus Notes applications to an SOA architecture," stated Todd Wille, CEO of Unify, in a press release.
