IconFinder is a new search engine for icons with a database of more than 5000 icons indexed, pretty useful to find some cool free icons for your layouts. Beside AJAX Search, you can click on each icon in result to see more information such size, author, license and keywords. You can even change icons background to black, white or transparent to get a better idea how it looks.

The main sites is currently facing  some issues with server due to heavy traffic, but you might check it here if the main domain still down.
