Outlook 2007 is the latest version of the e-mail client for accessing an Exchange mailbox. To make this version of Outlook very flexible, it can connect to a mailbox on the following versions of Exchange:
- Exchange 2000
- Exchange 2003
- Exchange 2007
However, if your mailbox is on an Exchange 2007 server, there are many new Outlook features that “light up”. By “light-up”, I mean that you will see new features available in Outlook 2007 simply because your mailbox is on Exchange 2007.
