Some of you may be too young to remember Captain N. For those of you who don’t recall the cartoon, he was the character Kevin Keen a teenager who is brought into the Nintendo universe along with his weird dog to become Captain Nintendo. This cartoon came out in the late 80s and was a show I watched all the time on Saturday mornings. The show had many characters from popular Nintendo games such as Princess Lana, Mother Brain (Metroid), Simon Belmont (Castlevania), Mega Man and many others.

The complete series is available for $22.49 on pre-order from Amazon.com. Amazon also offers a free TV show download with any DVD purchase. I’ve already ordered my copy as it was one of my favorite cartoons for a while. It’s a 4 disc set and includes all 3 seasons.
