When I first installed the Zune software and synced certain albums, I noticed that a lot of times the album art was not present and couldn’t be found online through the software. After tinkering around I found a simple easy method of placing album art without the hassle of depending on the software to find it online. This is especially for those who like to keep your Zune in order and with nice looking art, like myself  .

Step 1: Connect your precious Zune and load the Zune software. Once loaded and ready, look on the left tab and locate “Library”, click it and select “Album”. If you have synced your software with your Music files on your HDD, then you should see a list of music.

On the top, there should be a tab which gives you different views for your files, click on the button and select either “Tile” or “Icon”, both choices result in similar manner. Locate the album you wish to contain new album art.

Step 3: Next open which ever folder manually which contains the picture file you want to use as “Album Art”. Click and drag the file and drop it on the album of your choice (it should say “Paste Art Here”). If successful you will notice a status bar with the word “Working”, now you are seconds away from having new album art.
