Google has announced, the changes in Picasa referrals program, as they are consolidating Picasa and Pack referrals into a single program, which includes software like Google Earth, Desktop and Toolbar. The changes in Picasa referrals are due to the recent international launch of Google Pack.

If you're currently displaying a Picasa referral unit on your site, you won't notice any changes to the unit or to the way that you have been generating earnings, as all Picasa referral units that are currently up will remain supported.
