Download Counter plugin for WordPress, keep track of the number of downloads from your site. It keep a list of the downloadable files, replace the URL with the one the plugin gives you and, hopefully, sit back and watch the numbers rise! I wrote this for my own use and it seems stable enough. And I know there are other plugins out there that perform this task but I just couldn’t seem to get any of them to work.
