Past two days, I couldn’t write anything, ‘coz our Dear Subodh uncle died on 18th Nov. 2006. He was the only person in this entire world, who had a lot of concern for my dad, and my entire family.

“He was a brother, a friend and everthing to my dad. And for us (me, my borther & sister), Subodh uncle and Chitra aunty were all possible relations that one gets from their father and mother’s family.�

The love and affection that our entire family has received from Subodh uncle and Chitra aunty cann’t be defined in words.

It’s is the finest example of a True Friendship. The relation that started about 46 years back as a friendship between my Dad, Subodh uncle, Chitra aunty and my mother before our birth had grown and bonded into the top of all relations over the years.

No matter, what’s the situation he always remained in constant touch with my father over Phone and my sister through email every day. Even before his death, he spoke to my dad and sent his last email to my sister on 16th Nov. 2006, though he couldn’t read my sister’s reply to his email, ‘coz of his illness of past one and half days before his last breath.

He was about to celebrate his 46th marriage anniversary on 25th Nov. 2006 and was waiting a surprise from my sister on that day. May I wish a very “Happy Marriage Anniversary�, Dear Subodh uncle and Chitra aunty.

Every year, he used to call us on our birthday’s and anniversay’s. I never remember my b’day, especially on the day, but he was the only person, who used to wish and remind me of my b’day.

Dear Subodh uncle, may God give you all happiness and peace in the other world, where you are at present and full fill all your wishes.

We always need your blessings & wishes, and we are sure that you’ll keep pouring the same from the other world too.

You’ll always remain with us in our heart and thoughts. I’m sure that Sameer bhai & his family, Sangeet, Shalu and we all, will nurture this relationship further.
