Sebastien Gruhier has written a Prototype version of the YUI Carousel component.  “This class is a Prototype/script.aculo.us version of the excellent Bill Scott's Carousel component. I needed it to be able to use it in Ruby On Rails application without using YUI JS classes. This library is licensed under a MIT-style license, so you can use it for anything you like, as long as you include the copyright notice.”

This version has

It's has been tested on IE 6, Firefox (PC,Mac), Opera 9, Safari and Camino.
