The site24×7 servers make HTTP or HTTPS requests to your website or blogs at regular intervals of time and check if your website or blog is fine, during this —it “track website / blog performance, monitor website / blog transactions, and alos monitor website / blog page defacement. If it finds any anonymity, it immediately alerts you either “over email” or “SMS” on your mobile phone (you choice of alert).
Signup is Free at this moment, — Once you register your website in Site24×7, the hosted service periodically checks if your website is accessible or not. When it is not accessible, notifications are sent and corrective actions can be triggered.
Site24×7 checks for various attributes as response time, (add more attributes) etc. For example, you can add a URL, say http://eshopping.jsp, for monitoring. You can set a threshold for a web page such that - if the page load time of that page is more than 3 seconds, you should be notified through an EMail or SMS. This helps you in taking quick action before it affects end users.
