Windows Vista RC1 will be completed with a new service that will enable ordinary users to install ActiveX controls from sites approved from a Group Policy. This new service is develloped because of extensive feedback on the Vista TAP-RD program from customers who are already rolling out beta versions of Vista in their environments.Chris Corio, a Program Manager on the User Account Control team discusses this new service on the MSDN UAC (User Account Control) blog. |
