Bill Gates shows off a pre-release version Microsoft Windows 1.0 on the Tandy 2000 — in this 1985 RadioShack advertisement. “We’re proud of our work. So when we want to show someone how great MS-Windows really is, we give them a demonstration. On the Tandy 2000.”

    The first computer that my father got me was a 8088 Tandy.

    Wow bill looks so young, I always thought he was older. Of course I was only 4 in 1985. Is a nice image of computer history though thanks for sharing. People forget that Tandy computers were top of the line when they came out, even beat IBM back then many years ago..
