Samsung announced the BD-P1000 Blu-ray player at the CES 2006. Now it started to appear on a couple of online stores for pre-order. The Samsung BD-P1000 (final design shown in photo) is selling at $999.00, which is the same price point Sony offers their BDP-S1 Blu-ray disc player.
