Driver fatigue can be fatal. It is especially dangerous for long distance driving. That is why many road and transport authorities promote the idea of stopping and revitalizing every now and then before continuing with one's journey.

And, yes, blogging is like a journey. When you start to blog, you open up a whole new world online. And, like with any kind of journey, it is always exciting to begin.

But, excitement fades at times and exhaustion creeps in eventually. When this happens, it's time to stop and revive. Otherwise, bloggers who try to continue past this stage end up feeling burnt out - to the point of completely giving up.

So, when you're finding it more and more difficult to blog, one of the things that you might want to consider doing is stopping and resting for a little while. Walk away and regroup. Do something else.

Then, think about why you wanted to blog in the first place. Try to regain some of that initial excitement and energy by reminding yourself of the reasons you blog.

Find out what it is about blogging that's making you feel tired.

Have you started too many blogs? Have you set unrealistic expectations about the amount of time that you can spend on blogging? Maybe it's time to cut some things back.

If you're running multiple blogs, think about getting co-bloggers to share the load. Or, you might even consider letting go of some of your blogs. If you only have a single blog but you set yourself a difficult daily blogging schedule, maybe you can start blogging a bit less. Perhaps, if you're blogging 10 times a day, maybe you want to try just posting entries 5 times a day. Or, if you're blogging once a day, you can just blog 3 to 4 times a week.

Taking a break, relaxing, remembering your initial blogging excitement, and setting more realistic goals with blogging are just a few things that you can do to revive yourself as a blogger. But, no matter how simple your strategies may be, it will help you maintain your motivation in blogging.

That's why it's important to keep telling yourself that when it comes to driving and blogging, it's always a good idea to stop and revive, in order to survive.
