The D-VE7000S features a 7" widescreen display, and contains a rechargeable battery contained in its compact frame that can power the device for three hours per charge. The device features support for a wide variety of burnable disc formats, including DVD, DVD±R/±RW and DVD±R dual layer discs, as well as support for CD, Video CD, CD-R/RW discs. In addition to the MPEG-2 support (for DVD decoding), the D-VE7000S features support for other widely-used multimedia formats, including the DivX video format, the MP3 audio format, and the JPEG image format.
