So you’ve seen the pictures, now watch Acura designer Ricky Hsu discuss the design elements of the 2007 Acura MD-X concept. This futuristic SUV features an integrated rear hatch, a longer wheelbase, wider track, and Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights. It’s powered by a V6 engine with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) technology. Watch after the jump. <1--more-->

“The smooth lines and sleek shape of the MD-X Concept challenge the conventions of SUV design,” said Ricky Hsu, chief designer for the MD-X Concept. “Our goal was to create the image of a sports sedan while maintaining generous interior volume and utility of a SUV.”
