Engineering students at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) have created the world's largest 3-D display, using a matrix of 8,000 LEDs and lots of ping pong balls. It measures 8 x 4 x 2 m and was created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of "Electrotechnische Vereeniging" (ETV). Video clip - of someone playing Snake - and more pics after the jump.
